Juventus and Bayern Munich agree to transfer Matthijs de Ligt – Negotiations between the two clubs, sitting at the table for the young defender, were positive.
According to the information conveyed by Romeo Agresti from GOAL Italy; Bayern Munich, which increased its bid for Matthijs de Ligt, succeeded in convincing Juventus.
Negotiations between the managers of the two clubs continued unabated on Sunday.
Juventus opened the door for De Ligt from 90 million euros. Bayern’s first offer was 60 million euros in the form of testimonials + bonuses.
Bayern raises bid
The Bundesliga champion finally put on the table a package of 80 million euros, consisting of 70 million euros + 10 million euros bonus.
De Ligt, who had shaken hands with Bayern long ago, became certain to wear the jersey of the German team next season, after Juventus said yes to the offer.
The 22-year-old Dutch player has announced that he is considering leaving the club due to the unsuccessful results of Juventus in the last two seasons.
Juventus identify alternatives
De Ligt’s determination to move to Bayern had prompted Juventus to create a transfer roster for the centre-back.
The four names chosen by the Italian team to fill De Ligt’s place are; Villarreal‘s Pau Torres, Fiorentina’s Nikola Milenkovic, Arsenal’s Gabriel and Turin’s Gleison Bremer.
