David Beckham Waited 12 hours in line for Elizabeth – David Beckham, Queen Elizabeth II. He was one of many Englishmen who stood in line for hours at Westminster Hall to see Elizabeth’s coffin.
Great Britain, Queen II. As Elizabeth mourned her death, many came to Westminster Hall to see her coffin. There was also David Beckham in the mile-long queue where the British public waited to see the queen’s body. Beckham waited in line for 12 hours and told ITV News why.
WHAT DID HE SAY?
“His Majesty represented very different things,” Beckham told ITV News. said. “I was very lucky, I always wanted to represent my country, to be captain, and I succeeded. It meant something different to me every time I wore the Three Lions jersey and sang God Save The Queen.”
